BiH became the 6-th placed state in the world with successfully done transplantation of the IV generation of cultivated cartilage, more specifically with damaged knees which, without operation, would end up in the future with artificial joint. The operation was performed by a team composed of Primarius dr Reuf Karabeg.

The Stress is not related with the risk of breast cancer
Nevertheless, it was established that there exist connection of the increased risk of breast cancer and the death of the spouse, a family member or a friend.
Breast cancer in the present days is one of the most frequent cancers in the Western world. And the results of the researches related to the connection of stress and increased risk of breast cancer are contradictory.
Statistically relevant effects have been observed for three categories. It included stress situations in life: death of the souse, or death of a cousin or a friend. Death of the spouse was connected with the risk increasing of breast cancer for 77%, death of a cousin for 37%, and the death of a friend for 35%.
Biological explanation of the connection of stress and appearance of malign diseases may be, perhaps, explain with the fact that a stress situation hinders and temporarily damages various parts of immunological system. Bad functioning of immunological system is favourable for developing of malign process in an organism. (International Journal of Cancer).
